Post Lights

Every home must have a working post light or column light between the house and the street, lit from dusk to dawn.

  • Lights can be solar, natural gas or electric.
  • Posts must be black and 3" to 4" in diameter. Thin tube steel is not allowed.
  • Solar lights must be at least 120 lumens.
  • Brick or stone columns with mounted lights at the driveway entrance are allowed if they match each other and suit the house.

Screening Outdoor Equipment

Outdoor items like air conditioning units, garbage cans and pet houses must be hidden from view of the street and the golf course. Screen them with evergreen shrubs, trees or a fence.

Fences

Any fence must be approved by the ARB before it’s built.

Around the Neighborhood

Dogs

Please keep your dog on a leash, don’t let it bark constantly, and always pick up after it.

Vehicle Parking

  • Boats, trailers, RVs and similar vehicles must be kept in a garage or carport.
  • Commercial vehicles may not be parked in a driveway for more than 8 hours during normal working hours.
  • Personal cars belonging to residents and guests may be parked in the driveway if they’re in regular use and moved at least every 48 hours.

Signs

Signs are not allowed on your property or anywhere in the neighborhood, except:

  • a small real estate sign while your home is for sale
  • a small sign for a short-term maintenance or remodeling project in progress
  • a political or campaign sign during an election period, no larger than 4 square feet

Garage Sales

Fox Den holds two community garage sales each year, one in spring and one in fall. See the [calendar] for dates. Individual garage sales and estate sales are not allowed, both for security and out of respect for your neighbors.

Living Near the Golf Course

Fox Den Country Club

Don’t dump yard waste, such as grass clippings, leaves or branches, on golf course property.

The Fox Den Country Club is a private club within our neighborhood, and the golf course is for members only. If your property borders the golf course, the Covenants & Restrictions include some extra rules that apply to you.
